The image is rebuilt as space. Foreground, midplanes and background separate into depth layers, arranged so a moving camera can travel through the frame and parallax does the rest.
Developed for AMI’s Spring/Summer 2022 campaign, L’Échappée Belle is a surreal collage world: a deserted nighttime funfair built from carousel fragments, signage and silhouetted forms, with a glowing moon encircled by floating AMI logos anchoring the frame. The collection imagery sits embedded between layers and architectural cutouts — part of the structure, not laid over it.
The composition opens into space. Deconstructed into depth planes and rebuilt for directional camera movement, it uses parallax, scaling and pacing to guide the eye across the frame — revealing the world gradually rather than illustrating it. Everything is tuned for restraint: enough movement to give the image time and depth, never so much that it breaks the stillness the picture was built on. The sequence ran across AMI’s digital and social channels as the campaign’s motion counterpart to runway and editorial.
