The show debuted as a one-night-only event in São Paulo, played live to 70,000 people and streamed exclusively on YouTube to an audience of 20 million.
What was built for a single night became part of the biggest R&B tour in history — the environments have opened and closed every show since.
Each world extends the physical stage into architecture too vast to build, wide enough to hold a story and one man inside it.
Under the creative direction of Anyma, we developed six environments in one architectural language: the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, part of the artist’s own Ethiopian heritage, translated to stadium scale. A temple carved from rock, its portal burning white. A cathedral window seen from the altar. A room in Ethiopia, looking out. A halo around the sun. Wings assembled from hundreds of interlocking hands.
The camera never moves. Each environment is a fixed frame the show performs inside, extending the physical stage past the point where building stops. What moves is the world itself — light across stone, structures assembling and coming apart. Surfaces favour erosion over detail: tool marks, weathering, the irregularity of hand-cut stone, built to read from the last row of a stadium and hold up in a broadcast close-up.
